WHO WE ARE

About Cancun Wedding Officiants: Santiago Carranza & Alina Monroy, happily married for 35 years, manage a group of wedding ministers who have been officiating weddings and vow renewal ceremonies in the Cancun and the Riviera Maya area since 2004.

We belong to a Non Denominational Christ centered, purpose driven church: Community of Faith Cancun. We offer wedding ceremonies in these languages: English, Spanish, French, Russian, German and Portuguese. Ceremonies can also be bilingual.

We are part of the most exciting day of your life, your wedding day, so we do our best to make it special, to make it meaningful, not only with our words but also with the passion we put in our wedding ceremonies.

So, according to what you tell us about you and your future spouse (see the Personalize your Wedding ), we design a wedding ceremony.

It could be more or less religious, or not religious at all. Focused on marriage, commitment and the celebration of love. Involving your parents, special people you want mentioned, children from a previous marriage, etc. We try to customize it as much as possible.

We have different rituals which can be part of your wedding ceremony: Sand Ceremony, Unity Candle, Rose Ceremony, Coins and Lazo (traditional Mexican ritual), Stone Ritual.

We also offer a variety of optional readings:

Blessing of the Hands

Blessing of the Marriage,

Blessing of the Rings,

Blessing of Bride and Groom (from the Parents)

Jewish Blessing,

Prayer for Marriage,

Various Biblical Readings from the Old and New Testament (Genesis 1: 26- 28, 31, Ruth 1: 16-17, Ecclesiastes 4: 9-12, Psalm 33, Song of Solomon, 1 Corinthians 13, Ephesians 5, Philippians 4, etc.

Non Religious:

Love, Art of Marriage,

We also do Renewal of Vows. This is a special ceremony to celebrate a special anniversary or a renewal of your original commitment to each other.

It could be done after 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 50 years. Whenever you want. Involving children, grandchildren, etc. We have special readings to commemorate this special occasion.
